Stacy Moore brings 28 years in the foodservice industry to her consulting practice, with experience ranging from operations to analysis. As a management consultant with The Hale Group, a leading industry firm, she focused on strategic planning, market research, and program implementation with major food manufacturers, chain restaurant organizations, distributors, supermarkets, technology providers, and food industry associations.

During her tenure at The Hale Group, Stacy co-authored a benchmark study of supermarket foodservice operations, Building a Meal Solution Delivery System, for the Coca-Cola Retailing Research Council, and spearheaded a series of multi-disciplinary roundtable sessions that assembled experts around the topic of The Foodservice Kitchen of the Future.

Current project work includes business planning and operations development for startup foodservice businesses including Cereality®, repositioning of restaurant brands with menu and marketing, and “just in time” research for a series of new product launches for a major food and beverage manufacturer. Stacy Is also a partner in North-South Food & Beverage, which represents food and beverage companies in Latin America who want to enter the U.S. market.

With a background that includes front- and back-of-the-house foodservice operations as well as sales and distribution, Stacy’s career spans all segments from multi-unit quick-service to family and casual restaurants, to fine dining and country club foodservice. Stacy has served as President of Carberry’s Bakery a national manufacturer of frozen bread and pastry products as well as a distributor of fresh baked goods throughout New England. She also served as President of a related business, Carberry’s LLC, operator of three high volume bakery cafés and a catering business.

Her work in sales, establishing a new territory for NorthCenter Foodservice, a broadline foodservice distributor, earned corporate recognition four times over a two-and-a half-year period. As a District Manager at Mrs. Field’s Cookies, Stacy facilitated sales increases of more than 100%. As a Director of Operations for Northern Bakers, Inc., an Au Bon Pain ten unit franchisee, Stacy oversaw all operations, including build-outs, and remodels. During her tenure, same store sales of 15% to 20% were achieved in all units. As General Manager of Chipper’s River Café, Stacy oversaw the operation of two full-service casual restaurants and a retail/wholesale baking operation.

Stacy is a graduate of Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration with a concentration in design and development. As a spokesperson for the industry, she regularly addresses groups of all sizes and is frequently invited to participate in research forums, taste panels, and concept generation, ideation and brainstorming sessions. She is active on the board of advisors to a number of startup businesses in food and related industries. Stacy is a member of the Cayuga Hospitality Advisors, the International Foodservice Editorial Council, and the Women’s Foodservice Forum, where she is active on the Research Committee.
